Design and processing principles: The circular runout of the roller surface and the concentricity of the bearing seat installation sections at both ends must meet the standard requirements. Attention should be paid to the static balance of the roller body, ensuring it can stop at any position when at rest.

Mass Production Principles: The design of conveyor rollers should consider mass production and ensure quality.

Design principles for the shaft: Q235 cold-drawn round steel can be selected based on market supply, with a tolerance standard of h6.

Performance and lifespan indicators: The material, dimensional tolerances, load capacity, rotational resistance, and lifespan of the rollers should meet national standards requirements. For example, the roller body must be made of seamless steel tubing, the bearing housing should be made of cast iron or stamped parts, the sealing structure must be dustproof and waterproof (protection level IP55 or higher), the outer diameter deviation should not exceed ±0.5mm, the axial runout should be ≤0.7mm, the rated radial load must be ≥2.5 times the working load, the rotational resistance should be ≤2.5N, and the lifespan should be no less than 30,000 hours.

Special industry requirements: Different industries have specific requirements for conveyor rollers, such as coal mine rollers needing to pass flame retardant and anti-static tests, and food-grade rollers needing to comply with FDA standards.
