Polyurethane O-rings are more durable than rubber O-rings.
Polyurethane materials have high wear resistance, tear resistance, and low rolling resistance, with a wear resistance that is 3-5 times that of natural rubber. Polyurethane roller rings maintain stable performance during high-frequency operation, are not prone to slipping, and do not absorb impurities, significantly improving the smoothness of the conveying process.
In addition, polyurethane material has excellent cushioning properties and tear resistance, capable of withstanding punctures and cuts from sharp objects, making it suitable for handling materials with sharp edges. In contrast, rubber O-rings are less durable and less resistant to tearing than polyurethane O-rings, so their service life is typically shorter.
