The principle of this type of pulley is similar to the standard wing pulley, this design promotes continuous contact between the pulley and the belt during operation, thus eliminating excessive noise and vibration without sacrificing the self-cleaning action.
Self Cleaning Pulley offers the same aggressive construction as wing pulleys, but incorporating a 'screw conveyor' design this provides for the ultimate cleaning action.
Spiral type pulleys are used for dry free flowing materials.
