Standards And Grades Related To Dynamic Balance Testing

2026-08-19 00:00

Dynamic balance testing can be carried out according to the ISO1940 standard. This standard is used to avoid vibration when the roller operates at high speed, ensuring stable equipment operation.

 Dynamic Balance Grades (G Grades)

Dynamic balance grade is a key indicator for measuring calibration accuracy. The smaller the grade value, the higher the balance accuracy. Common grades include:

G1 grade: Suitable for high-precision rollers with a speed higher than 3000rpm, such as guide rollers in textile machinery, requiring extremely high balance accuracy.
G4 grade: Suitable for general industrial rollers with a speed lower than 1000rpm, such as heavy mining conveyors, controlling costs while meeting load requirements.

Different application scenarios select the corresponding grade according to speed and accuracy requirements to control the residual unbalance, ensuring that vibration amplitude and noise meet the standards (e.g. vibration amplitude <0.1mm, noise <70dB)
