SPCC is the abbreviation for Cold Rolled Steel Plate, which refers to ordinary carbon structural steel cold rolled plates.
It is a grade of Japanese steel (JIS series) commonly used for cold rolled carbon steel thin plates and steel strips.
SPCC was originally the name of a steel material in the Japanese Standard (JIS) for "General Purpose Cold-Rolled Carbon Steel Sheet and Strip," and now many countries or companies directly use it to refer to similar steel materials they produce (for example, Baosteel's Q/BQB402 standard includes SPCC).
Note: Similar grades include SPCD (cold-rolled carbon steel sheet and strip for stamping), SPCE (cold-rolled carbon steel sheet and strip for deep drawing), SPCCK/SPCCCE (steel specifically for televisions), SPCC4D/SPCC8D (hard steel, used for bicycle rims, etc.), which are used in different applications.
