The middle impact idler is not in line with others. There are 3 impact rollers. Conveyor Impact idler is used to absorb the shock of loaded material from chute at loading and transfer point, so as to protect belt from damage or deterioration. In order to ensure good bonding strength, the impact rubber rings are made of wear and impact resistant rubber are vulcanized.

Offset idlers have slightly overlapping rollers. They contribute self training properties and must be installed in the correct orientation which is square to the belt and conveyor frame. The moving belt must be in contact with the centre roller first.

Application

Conveyor Impact idler is used for receiving material of belt conveyor to reduce and slow impact for conveyor belt, mainly designed for coal washing plant, coking plant, chemical plant and other corrosive environment. Impact roller has good corrosion resistance, if used in corrosive occasions, its service life can be five times than ordinary roller. Idlers are supplied for a standard range of belt widths from 450 mm to 2400 mm.

Long-distance conveyor lines: For example, the long-distance conveyor belts in open-pit coal mines, where self-aligning idlers can promptly correct belt misalignment caused by uneven terrain or uneven material distribution.
High-angle conveying applications: Trough-shaped idlers support the conveyor belt in a trough shape, increasing the load-bearing area and stability of the material, preventing it from spilling, and are suitable for high-angle conveying applications.
Uneven Material Conveyor Line: When factors such as eccentric material accumulation, uneven tension distribution along the conveyor belt width, frame deformation, damaged idler bearings, or wind loads cause the conveyor belt to deviate, the self-aligning idler set can effectively correct the deviation and ensure the normal operation of the conveyor.
