V Return Idlers consisting of two rollers are typically used on long overland conveyors for applications requiring heavy-duty, high tension fabric and steel cord core conveyor belts. The two rollers have a higher load rating than a single roller, providing better belt support and belt adjustment and return. the angle of the V Return Idler is usually 10° or 15°.

The purpose of using a flat return idler is to support the belt from the return side to prevent stretching, sagging and failure of the belt, which increases the service life of the conveyor belt.

Designed for a standard range of belt widths between 450 mm and 3000 mm

Manufactured using tube or angle iron main structural sections

Supplied as galvanised or standard painted (special paint systems available for corrosive environments)
