Deflection Pulley

The deflection pulley is used to change the direction of the conveyor belt (180°, 90°, and less than 45°) or to press the conveyor belt to increase its contact angle with the drive roller, mainly located below the belt's movement path. It primarily uses a smooth rubber surface. The shaft should be made of forged material and should undergo non-destructive testing with a test report provided. Deflection rollers and drive rollers are generally used in conjunction.

Working Conditions

The diameter of the deflection pulley can be customized to various specifications such as 200, 250, 315, 400, 500, 630, 800, 1000, 1250, 1400, 1600, and 1800mm, suitable for material conveying equipment with belt widths ranging from 500mm to 2400mm.

The roller surface is available in options such as steel surface, cast rubber smooth surface, and cast rubber surface with diamond or herringbone patterns.

Depending on different working conditions, occasions, and uses, it can be widely applied in industries such as power, steel, chemical, coal, cement, mining, and port terminals.
