S65C

S65C is a medium-high carbon spring steel in the Japanese JIS standard.
The chemical composition of S65C material includes: C (%) 0.60-0.70, Mn (%) 0.60-0.90, Si (%) 0.15-0.30, Cr (%) --, Ni (%) --, P (%) ≤0.030, S (%) ≤0.035. It is equivalent to China's 65 steel.

Uses and Typical Application Examples
S65C is widely used in the manufacturing of cold stamping molds, cold drawing molds, cold extrusion molds, and blanking molds. Due to its good toughness and wear resistance, it is also commonly used in the manufacture of large molds that are subjected to high stress. Typical application examples include: used for manufacturing automobile leaf spring molds; used for manufacturing television picture tube molds; used for manufacturing washing machine compressor cylinder heads; used for manufacturing engine cylinder blocks, etc.
