The working principle of the non-powered cleaner mainly relies on the combination of friction and mechanical structure,
Frictional Drive: When the cleaner is in motion, the roller and brush create friction with the ground or conveyor belt, which drives the brush to rotate and sweeps dust and debris into the collection device.
Structural Design: Non-powered cleaners typically consist of a drive roller, a cleaning brush roller, a drive support arm, and a centering support. Install the cleaner on the frame of the belt conveyor using the connecting plate, and adjust the screw adjustment knob so that the cleaning brush roller makes slight contact with the return belt. When the conveyor is operating, the drive rollers rotate along with the conveyor, driving the cleaning brush roller through the drive support arm. The rotation direction of the brush roller is opposite to the movement direction of the return belt, thereby sweeping off the attachments adhered to the underside of the return belt.
The non-powered cleaner does not require an external power source and is suitable for various ground and industrial environments. It has advantages such as high cleaning efficiency, strong applicability, and environmental friendliness and energy saving. It is widely used in belt conveyor systems in industries such as mining, cement factories, power plants, ports, and grain processing.
