The rollers used in mines have the following requirements:
Material requirements: The roller body must be made of seamless steel pipe (such as 20 # Steel), the bearing housing is made of cast iron or stamped parts, and the sealing structure needs to be dustproof and waterproof (protection level IP55 or higher)
Dimensional tolerance requirements: The outer diameter deviation shall not exceed ±0.5mm, and the axial runout shall be ≤0.7mm.
Load capacity requirements: The rated radial load must be ≥2.5 times the working load, for example, the dynamic load of a φ89mm roller must be ≥3kN
Performance Requirements: Coal mine rollers must pass the flame retardant and anti-static tests of MT/T655-2011, with a surface resistance ≤3×10⁸Ω. The conveyor rollers need to be explosion-proof, anti-static, corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant, have good sealing performance, high strength and impact resistance, and maintain stable performance over a wide temperature range.
Lifespan indicator: Under standard operating conditions (20 ℃ ~60 ℃ ), the rotational resistance of the idler roller should be ≤2.5N, and the lifespan should not be less than 30,000 hours.
Selection and Installation Requirements: Based on the operating conditions of the mine and the characteristics of the transported materials, select the appropriate type of work (such as trough-shaped, flat-shaped, etc.) and the load-bearing capacity of the rollers. During installation, ensure that the roller axis is aligned with the belt's direction of movement, and that the parallelism between adjacent sets of rollers meets the requirements.
Maintenance requirements: Regularly clean the dust and debris on the rollers, and replace severely worn rollers in a timely manner. At the same time, conduct regular quality checks on the rollers to prevent equipment failures caused by quality issues.
